7 Ups And 10 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Dec 28)
Downs...
10. Five-Man Tag Match
From the outset of Raw, we were promised a big six-man tag match between the League of Nations and Dean Ambrose & the Usos. But one of the six men never officially entered the match. Its been noted that King Barrett is dealing with an injury right now and hasnt competed in a match for three weeks. But that didnt stop WWE from promoting him in the tag match, which ended up being worked entirely by Sheamus and Rusev. Barrett stood on the apron and distracted his opponents, but he didnt get physically involved in the bout. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Yruo6XFnwk While that isnt a negative against him, it does stink that WWE is forced to book Barrett for a match he cant compete in. Maybe WWE should run an injury angle of some sort, because its becoming very noticeable, especially in the main event when Sheamus and Rusev ran down to save Alberto Del Rio, but Barrett was nowhere in sight despite coming out with the League of Nations initially.
