7 Ups And 10 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Dec 28)
9. Divas Dont Click
Its hard to call a 10-minute match between Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch bad, but their bout on Raw certainly was a disappointment and not up to par with their previous work together. For whatever reason, it felt like they just didnt click. The women started with a slow build, with Becky working an armbar and then Sasha cranking on surfboards and neck vices. It felt like it was supposed to be building to something bigger, but that something bigger never came. Instead, just when they started to wake up the crowd by reversing submission holds, Banks rolled Lynch up with the tights for the three count. Maybe it was an off night. Or maybe they were told that rather than just having a good match, they had to work in the Team BAD interference during the match and for the finish, so that threw them off. Either way, it wasnt a something that will show up on a highlight reel. It wasnt even Banks best match in that arena. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0cRbaeEhlI But both women are perfectly capable of delivering great matches, so call this a disappointment because of the lost opportunity for a really good match.
