Watching Charlotte Flair and Lacey Evans wrestle on Monday was tough sledding.

Flair and Evans struggled to pull together a good match on Raw, spending the first half of the match “grappling,” which is a polite way of saying they fumbled around like two dance partners who were both trying to lead.

Charlotte finally got the upper hand and things picked up a bit, but the biggest reaction from fans was a “We want Becky!” chant for the Raw Women’s Champion, who was outside the ring. And Lynch finally obliged, causing a DQ to attack Lacey with a Manhandle Slam.

Maybe Charlotte and Lacey were told to keep it very basic since it was going to be a DQ finish, but this was painful, especially if Evans is supposed to be the future of the division. Even a pedestrian match should at least be watchable.
