Throughout the week on social media, Shotzi Blackheart added both Rhea Ripley and Ember Moon to her babyface War Games squad/tank building team. However, despite recruiting some serious top talent to her unit, the team captain had a serious challenge still ahead of her in the form of the ever-improving Raquel Gonzalez in a War Games Advantage ladder match.

Using the infamous steps to success to inflict various forms of creative damage on each other, both stars endured their fair share of suffering here. Coffin drops off the fence/barricade, face plants onto ladders, and sentons into steel all made for a particularly vicious affair coming into a weekend which will surely deliver much of the same.

Yet, despite Team Candice's attempts to intervene, it was an Io Shirai-assisted Blackheart who was able to bring home the advantage. If that wasn't enough, the NXT Women's Champion being revealed as the last addition to Blackheart's squad has confirmed what many of us had known for a week. We're about to see one of the most star-studded War Games battles in NXT history.
