Let’s give some kudos to the wrestlers giving kudos to each other.

Not every match was a blood feud between mortal enemies, so it was quite alright for competitors to acknowledge each other’s performance afterward. In this case, we saw the first two matches end with that mutual respect.

War Raiders and Ricochet & Aleister Black shared a series of hugs and bows to each other, which was both an acknowledgement of how hard both teams fought, but also that Black & Ricochet had fought their last battle in NXT. The duo then drank in the cheers from 15,000+ afterward.

Surprisingly, Matt Riddle and Velveteen Dream shared a fist bump after their North American Championship match, but only after Dream teased rejection.

It doesn’t always happen – and it shouldn’t – but when it does and is appropriate, a sign of respect is often a nice little touch.
