3. Quinn Wins, But Who Cares?
On the surface, Xyon Quinn looks like a star with all the tools to make a significant impact not just on Tuesday nights, but WWE as a whole. He's an absolute wrecking ball, he's got the looks, and the former rugby player can also help appeal to the Australian market in a similar way to the likes of Rhea Ripley and... well, the rest have all been cut loose.
But after taking in the star's latest glorified squash on the developmental show, it's really difficult to get that excited about the dynamic force. Sure, he definitely has some compelling power moves in his arsenal and some legitimacy thanks to his pro athlete background, but his supposed "Gentleman" schtick is being lazily put over on commentary without any further work done to get it over on-screen and the way he was presented last night just came across as that dreaded five letter word: "green".
There's still time for Quinn to connect with the crowd and find a spark that will help nourish him into a genuinely watchable talent - watching him perform a mini haka before his finisher is actually pretty entertaining - but more effort needs to be put into giving him a chance to begin with.
