7 Ups And 4 Downs From WWE NXT 2.0 (Nov 9)

6. The Scot Shines As Sarray Stumbles

Proving once again exactly why the brand's women's division is perhaps the most consistently entertaining and eye-catching element of a regularly disjointed production, the opening 6-woman tag skirmish was quickly follow up by another fast-paced fight amongst females.

Kay Lee Ray stepped to Sarray and two contrasting styles quickly meshed well from the get-go. Ray's vicious streak rarely disappoints once she has some time to pick up a menacing head of steam, and one seriously nasty forearm here was enough to remind everyone why she stands apart from the many other talented performers still plying their trade on the show. Though admittedly, that number took another hit during the week.

Sarray also looked compelling in defeat, executing a barmy single-legged Boston Crab variation and a picture-perfect fisherwoman's suplex over the course of the bout. However, it's still difficult to see why the easily admirable babyface is routinely being dealt the short end of the stick in developmental. Another loss here via two KLR bombs from Ray was just the latest in a string of damning results for The Warrior of the Sun.

At least there was a silver lining in this end product, though, as the former NXT UK Champion looked every bit a serious future contender to Rose and will no doubt get her hands on Toxic Attraction's leader before the year is out.
