Sometimes, simple works.

Kurt Angle introduced Ronda Rousey to the newest member of the Raw women’s division, Natalya, only for him (and us) to learn that Nattie helped train Ronda (or trained with her). Later on, Natalya faced Mandy Rose and managed to get a tapout win to the Sharpshooter. Sonya Deville immediately attacked, and the beatdown was on.

This led to the predictable arrival of Rousey, who chased off both women, then squared off against Deville and toppled her quickly. Just like that, Ronda got some valuable screen time showing that she isn’t intimidated, as she slowly works her way into the roster.

Slowly but surely, Rousey will have to start squaring off against women not named Stephanie McMahon, but this little encounter worked pretty well.
