7 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Feb 26)

3. The Feud Must Continue!

Just when you thought we were free and clear of Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy doing battle, we got word from the Eater of Worlds that things aren’t done yet.

Wyatt demolished Rhyno and Heath Slater in rapid fashion, forgoing a match with Slater to make an example of the former tag champs and then grab a microphone.

As expected, Bray laughed – a lot. He also told Hardy that things weren’t over and that he was coming for him. Oh yeah, run.

So it looks like after a heatless match at Elimination Chamber, we’ll get a blowoff bout at WrestleMania. Maybe maggots will be projected onto the mat again!

Look, if they do a pre-recorded match for the kickoff show like Hardy did in TNA, then it could be somewhat interesting. But it just doesn’t feel like the way things are going that there’s any way to salvage things, absent a major shift in the direction of the feud. And until that happens, this is going to remain a “down.”
