It’s absolutely astounding how incredibly well WWE continues to book Braun Strowman. Despite being unable to book many elements of its programming, the company has protected Strowman in a way not seen in a good while.

Braun won Sunday night’s ambulance match, overcoming an assault with a steel chair (and yelling, “Hit me, son of a b****!” at one point) and dodging a spear attempt to secure the victory. But the match really was a prelude to what came after.

After Roman Reigns’ brutal attempted vehicular manslaughter, Strowman emerged from the ambulance, waved off medical attention and headed off, a bloody mess. It was a chilling visual, and it only added to Braun’s growing legend.

And above all that, Strowman won the match fair and square. No chicanery, no crazy gimmicks, just a dodge to the right.
