7 Ups And 5 Downs From WWE Raw (30 Oct - Review & Results)

3. Promo Video Disparities

Creed Brothers

Many Raw fans have probably never seen the Creed Brothers wrestle, so Monday’s short hype video introducing the NXT phenoms to the audience was a simple and effective way to let them know what was in store before their match against Alpha Academy.

That video, however, made the lackluster one that aired moments earlier plugging #DIY stand out even more. Since they reunited to near-silence a few weeks ago, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa have not gotten the full treatment of explaining who they are to an even larger audience who has never seen the two tag (they hadn’t teamed in three years).

It wouldn’t have taken much to put together a 45-second video charting the duo’s path through NXT, their classic matches and their journeys together and apart. Such a video would have explained why fans should get invested in this team.

Instead, the #DIY video was a wet fart, made worse by the Creeds’ package encapsulating the brothers perfectly.
