7 Ups And 5 Downs From WWE Raw (30 Oct - Review & Results)

2. Where’s Sami?

Sami Zayn’s impassioned promo about standing up to the Judgment Day and fighting them at all turns certainly fired up the crowd and made him look like the biggest babyface on Raw not named Cody Rhodes.

And then he completely abandoned those principles – and Ricochet as well, leaving the high-flyer on his own against Dominik Mysterio with Rhea Ripley and JD McDonagh at ringside.

In an all-too-predictable scenario, McDonagh and Ripley connived to distract and then cost Ricochet the match, leaving you to wonder why Sami talked such a good game about fighting Judgment Day with every breath in his body, if he was going to immediately leave the ringside area when he saw Ricochet – who had run out to back up Zayn – outnumbered for his singles match.

It was just terrible babyface behavior that was never explained and just presented as a huge logic gap.
