It’s been a while since this column has openly complained about the lack of a crowd and how it hurts the product, but in this case, the complaint is being lodged to highlight how good Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins were Monday night.

You can only imagine an arena full of fans reacting to Rollins as he went through his lengthy martyr speech, talking about how he needs to be champion to take the burden off McIntyre, to be the light in the darkness… and then Drew telling him that he’s completely full of s***.

The contract signing for their WWE Championship match at Money in the Bank was pretty well done, and both men are more than capable of having an outstanding match. Fans were rallying around McIntyre pretty well in the lead-up to WrestleMania, and Rollins was damn despicable as a near-religious figure leading his followers into battle.

So kudos to them for executing things well Monday night, and here’s hoping they pull off a great match as well at the PPV.
