The moment the women’s triple threat for a Raw Women’s Championship title match was announced, you knew the result that was coming: Nia Jax would win by defeating Natalya. Nia has the grudge with Asuka, and Nattie is the one who was in there to take the loss, not Charlotte Flair.

Even so, the match itself wasn’t bad at all, and the storyline made perfect sense, right down to Asuka on commentary cheering Jax on at various points, even shoving her into the ring to get back into the match. Charlotte and Nattie teamed up to take Nia out a couple times, illustrating that she was the threat in the match, but she picked her spot and picked up the win.

Now, the challenge will be to see if Asuka can indeed work a miracle and get a good match out of Jax.
