7 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (June 15th)

4. Village Idiot > King Barrett

Please, someone stage a coup and overthrow King Barrett. The crown is proving to be every much of an albatross for him that the Intercontinental Championship had been. After losing to R-Truth on the Money in the Bank kickoff show Sunday night, Barrett came out Monday looking to redeem himself. Truth, his unwitting (and somewhat witless) opponent, preceded him out wearing a paper crown and bedsheet while carrying a plunger. The self-proclaimed King What€™s Up mistook Byron Saxton for Jonathan Coachman (actually a funny bit) and then flushed (no pun intended) any humor by pulling a dated Diff€™rent Strokes reference (€œWhatchoo talkin€™ about, Willis?€) when informed he was facing Barrett. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pz_En2302as Despite not being aware he was in the match, Truth managed to win in 30 seconds with a rollup, as Barrett€™s woes continued. What made it worse was hearing Bad News try to talk about how prestigious winning the King of the Ring tournament was and that it was Truth making a mockery of it. Most would probably say losing to a guy wearing a bedsheet and carrying a plunger in 30 seconds makes more of a mockery of KOTR than anything.
