It’s been more than three years since New Day were part of the Raw roster, so seeing them back in action on Monday night was a treat.

It also was a reminder just how smooth Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods are, giving the Raw tag division an immediate boost and an upgrade in champions.

And to top it off, they had a really solid tag title defense against Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode, with New Day retaining the titles and sending their opponents over to SmackDown empty-handed. The match hopefully sets the tone for the Raw tag division, with New Day capable of defending the tag titles and carrying on good matches with nearly everyone.

Lastly, it’s worth noting that New Day had as many title defenses on their first night on Raw as the Street Profits had in the past seven weeks.
