At least you can give credit to the other seven men in the Money in the Bank ladder match for having the right idea: try to take out Braun Strowman because he’s the biggest threat.

Attack at the outset? Check. Jab him with ladders? Check. Bury him under ladders? Check? Try to put him through a table? Check.

None of it worked, however, as Strowman eventually retrieved the briefcase (with Braun even running through a ladder Finn Bálor and Bobby Roode were carrying at one point). Braun had to deal with Kofi Kingston hitchhiking on his back up the ladder, but he managed to jettison Kingston and win the match.

Most of the participants got a chance to shine a bit, which is what you hope for in a match like this. And now, Strowman is running around with a briefcase, which is a scary prospect.
