7 Ups And 6 Downs From WWE Raw (Jan 13)

3. Truth Be Told

Hands down, that might have been one of the funniest segments WWE produced in recent memory.

Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar came out to insult the crowd and rant, but as Paul E. started talking about the truth, R-Truth made his way out to declare for the Royal Rumble. He went on a long tangent about never giving up (like his childhood hero John Cena) and would toss the big, big, big man in the ring… Paul Heyman.

That remark sent Brock into hysterics, as he couldn’t stop laughing. Heyman pointed out that it was Lesnar in the Rumble, not him. So Truth did the only thing he could do at that point – undeclare for the Rumble. That had Lesnar really rolling.

Unfortunately for Truth, he asked Brock, “What’s up?” and ate an F-5 for his troubles, and Lesnar informed him, “That’s what’s up.”

Just absolute gold. Hilarious and serious at the same time.
