After finally seemingly ending his feud with Dolph Ziggler at Money in the Bank, Baron Corbin finally started moving on to new challenges on Raw, facing Zack Ryder wait. Something feels familiar.

Corbin actually has faced Ryder four times now since WrestleMania, winning all four bouts. (Granted two were on Smackdown and one was on Main Event.) He also has beaten Jack Swagger and Fandango twice each, and toppled each member of the Lucha Dragons once. Aside from Ziggler, Corbin really hasnt beaten anyone of consequence on the main roster.

Thats not meant to denigrate Ryder, or Swagger or the others. But youd think that coming off a match where he beat a former world champion, Corbin would face someone who would represent a step up on the food chain, not another lateral move. For example, facing someone like Mark Henry, Big Show, Kane or even one of the Usos would have been something new and somewhat interesting.
