7 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Sept 14th)

6. A Trip Down Short-Term Memory Lane

Throughout the night, WWE smartly decided to play some of Sting€™s biggest moments, such as beating Ric Flair for the NWA Heavyweight Championship in 1990, defeating Hollywood Hogan for the WCW title at Starrcade 1997€ and crushing Seth Rollins€™ statue last week. All in all, a handful of nice, historic NWA/WCW moments were shown, but the retrospective was marred by just jumping from 1997 to the present, and the last two €œmoments€ in Sting€™s career was showing up at Survivor Series 2014 (which was a big moment) and destroying Rollins€™ prized statue. How that made the cut, we€™ll never know. Surely WWE could have figured that they already showed the statue-destroying moment earlier in the night and we didn€™t need to see it again. We could have gotten another classic WCW moment instead of a trash truck.
