7 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw

5. Women’s Matches Hyped

Sometimes it’s the simple things that are the most effective.

WWE gave us one women’s match Monday night, but it advanced two angles pretty well. Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch teamed up against Charlotte and Dana Brooke, and they were doing pretty well for a while. Unfortunately, Becky obviously can’t team with Sasha at Battleground because she has a singles match against Natalya

And as if on cue, Nattie ran out and assaulted Becky, leaving her laid out and drawing a DQ. That left Banks to be obliterated by Charlotte and Brooke. Fans were almost squirming to see if someone – perhaps Bayley – was coming out to save the day, but no one did. Charlotte posed over top a fallen Sasha, leaving her mystery partner unknown for at least another day.

That might have frustrated this writer a bit, but it was more about wanting to know and be right, rather than be upset at bad storytelling.
