7. Champ Or Chump?

Why does WWE seem to enjoy making their champions (when they aren’t the chosen one)) look foolish and vulnerable?

During their tag match against Sheamus and Cesaro, Kevin Owens ate a Brogue Kick, only for Roman Reigns to spear the Celtic Warrior. Reigns then pulled KO’s lifeless carcass on top of Sheamus for the pin. The incident showed that they could win a match despite not getting along, but it also make Owens a chump while Roman stood tall over everyone, knocking out everyone (he took Cesaro out of the match too) and essentially winning the match for his team.

That doesn’t mean that Reigns shouldn’t stand tall, but it’s the devaluing of Owens as champ that is frustrating to some extent.
