So the biggest angle from last week, the news that WWE acted like was the most shocking revelation in years on Raw, was Triple H returning after five months and dropping Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins to hand the WWE Universal Championship to Kevin Owens.

After opening the show with a recap of that incident, wrestlers and authority figures talked about it ad nauseum, but did we get any follow-up on this from Triple H, or even the promise of an explanation or interview next week? No, of course not. Sure, it might have been a little too much to have Hunter standing with Kevin Owens in the ring gloating, but this made it look like Triple H was more like Keyser Soze, eliminating his enemies and then disappearing without a trace.

But unlike Soze, Triple H will be back. It’s just silly that there was no segment explaining why he did it or demand that he come on Raw next week and explain himself. Isn’t that something people would want to know? Or is that asking too much?

Let’s hope we get an explanation next week, and it isn’t the cop-out, “I don’t owe you an explanation.” Yes, yes you do.
