6. Burial Of EC3

It’s safe to say that EC3 might not have ever won the WWE Universal Championship when he was called up to the main roster, but it’s doubtful anyone could have predicted what has happened to him during his first six months in WWE.

After spending months of doing absolutely nothing but pose backstage, EC3 spent the past few weeks as part of the scrum chasing R-Truth for the 24/7 Championship, doing nothing of note. Then on Monday, Baron Corbin announced him as his special referee for his Universal Championship match against Seth Rollins – and you can all guess what happened next.

Rollins demolished EC3 with a steel chair, which is fine, given the theme of the night. But we weren’t done yet.

New Day came out while EC3 was still knocked out and covered him with Big E’s jacket. Then, they proceeded to do a Weekend at Bernie’s routine to get him to “sanction” a six-man tag match.

It’s just been a total bust for EC3 on the main roster, which is insane considering he’s considered one of the better talkers with a great physique. Again, he might not be a world champ, but he deserves better than this.
