6. Cena Has Fun In Chicago
Whenever John Cena comes to Chicago, you know hes going to get greeted with something that more closely resembles a Bronx Cheer. Windy City fans love to hate Cena, with the pinnacle being Money in the Bank PPV in 2011 against CM Punk. Monday didnt quite reach that level, but fans were vocal. Still, Cena managed to have a little fun. Right away, he jumped off the entrance ramp and bopped along with a fan singing (and bobbing) along with the John Cena sucks! chant to Cenas entrance music. Cena would then stop his U.S. Championship title match against Dolph Ziggler to congratulate a couple that got engaged during the match. He grabbed the mic to praise them, then would later turn his back on Dolph to clap again for them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VqIKqzUNEiM Cena noted earlier that his first WWE match (against Kurt Angle) was in the Allstate Arena, so obviously this place is special to him. Seeing him enjoy himself a little was a nice touch. Maybe knowing his vacation is just around the corner helped.
