7 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Oct 12th)
7. A Shaky Partnership
Right out of the gate, unless this is leading to Randy Orton turning heel or Dean Ambrose going off the deep end, then this is a waste of time. We learned Monday night that Orton and Ambrose are facing Luke Harper and Braun Strowman at Hell in a Cell in two weeks. We also learned that both Orton and Ambrose want to take point in that match. The follow my lead and I dont play well with others routine between the two is predictable, but then we had the miscommunication spot in their tag match when Kofi Kingston shoved Orton into Ambrose (whose back was turned) and Kofi rolled up Randy for the win. This, along with some in-match arguing, seemed to set the table for a breakup or one of them turning on the other. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UecUOz6l11E Having intrigue like that is fine from time to time, but if its just going to be a question hanging over this match and then it goes nowhere, then what was the point? If Orton and Ambrose are going to lose at HIAC and not turn on each other and feud, then why not just have Harper and Strowman win because theyre better, not because the heroes arent on the same page?
