7 Ups And 8 Downs From WWE King Of The Ring 2002

4. Up - Booker, Goldust, And Rock Have An Entertaining, Albeit Pointless Segment

The Rock joins Booker T and Goldust backstage for a delightful bit of goofiness. Let me break it down to some bullet points:

-The Rock and Booker T “don’t see eye to eye” (which they make sure to hammer home ad nauseum)

-Goldust is trying to be The Rock (for the lolz)

-Steve Austin is a big stupid doo-doo head for leaving WWE, and WWE hates him, and he’s never coming back ever (EVER). Moreover, The Rock is a wonderful, loyal company man who will always be around and never leave (EVER).

It’s a pointless interlude, but Rock, Goldust, and Booker are all funny and charismatic enough to carry it to an up.
