7 Ups And 8 Downs From WWE Survivor Series 2019

6. Tag Teams Persist

The tag team triple threat match on the Survivor Series kickoff show was a great lesson in not giving up and continuing to push forward.

The bout was not clicking all that well in the beginning – with the fans in attendance or as it came through the TV. It felt like a forced three-way bout, trying to do psychology and to sell the brand battle as Big E and Ivar teamed up to take out Undisputed Era.

But that quickly gave way to all six men just trying to top the other with crazy maneuvers: Erik slamming Ivar off the apron onto everyone else, Kofi alley-ooping Big E to the floor, Viking Raiders hitting a springboard German suplex on Big E, Undisputed Era hitting High/Low on Kofi Kingston, then trying it on Ivar, only for him to cartwheel out of it.

It was a pretty good match, not great, but good enough with some decent car crash material in the second half of the contest.
