1. Making The IC Title Relevant Again
Kudos to the four men vying for the Intercontinental Championship right now, as they have made the title something that talented people covet again. Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Cesaro and the Miz all have played up the importance of being IC champ and winning the title at Extreme Rules.
More importantly, the four of them have battled each other in nearly every conceivable combination, making Sundays fatal fourway an unpredictable match in terms of what we could see. Monday, we saw Zayn and Owens bitter rivals for more than a year now win a tag team match against Miz and Cesaro, who spent a portion of the match stealing each others moves.
The match should be really good and could steal the show if given enough time. All of this has made for an entertaining feud and made the IC title feel important again, like its something people want because it stands for something. Now all WWE has to do is make sure the title actually stands for something rather than just saying it.
