Ratings are down and Roman Reigns is being booed pretty strongly, but one positive coming out of the ongoing main event storylines lately is that the other guy in the rivalry is headed to his second straight PPV main event in just four months with WWE.

AJ Styles will main event Extreme Rules in a match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, which is astounding when you consider that he debuted in the company at the Royal Rumble. And Styles has gotten a chance to shine a bit on the mic and in the ring during his rivalry with Reigns, playing a bit of shades of gray while maintaining that he is going to win the title.

Sure, John Cena and Seth Rollins are on the way back, but Styles hopefully is solidifying a spot near the top of the card for the foreseeable future by putting out a great effort with this ongoing feud.
