7 Ups And 9 Downs From WWE Extreme Rules 2018

5. A Painful Victory

The twisted story between Braun Strowman and Kevin Owens took another turn Sunday night, when KO defeated Braun in possibly the most painful way imaginable.

Locked in a steel cage, Owens finally had to fight Strowman, which he did. But KO didn’t just fight Braun, he outsmarted him and handcuffed the monster to the ropes. But Strowman broke free, and would chokeslam Owens off the top of the cage through the announce table below. And with Kevin’s feet hitting the floor first, he technically won the match.

The porta-potty incident was a definite low point of this feud, but it’s been interesting to see Strowman, who has always acted with malice, almost bullying KO lately. Maybe it’s leading somewhere good, or maybe the writers are just bored, but we’ll be really generous tonight and give it an “up” for the tremendous bump off the cage.
