7 Ways Roman Reigns Can Help Himself Become A Bigger WWE Star

2. Add A Submission Move

The more signature moves you have the better. Look at a guy like Sheamus. He's got several moves that he does in every match that always get him two counts. Even though fans know he's not going to get the pin with the White Noise, Rolling Senton or Irish Curse Backbreaker the reaction to those moves is positive. John Cena doesn't have enough signature moves, but he does have a secondary finisher with the STF submission hold. Reigns has a couple of signature moves at this point, but what he should do is add a submission hold. The Cena point is comparable because Cena didn't have that move right away. He started doing it when he realized he needed more. Fans buy into the STF (originally started as the STFU) as a legit finisher because he won a lot of matches with it. That's what Reigns needs to do. A problem when it comes to submission holds is there are only so many you can do without repeating something that's already been done many times before. Nothing is really original. They could give him a move like the Texas Cloverleaf or the Single Leg Crab, but fans may not buy them as finishers. It's not up to us to decide what the submission move should be. They're wrestlers with veterans that work with them every day. They can figure it out.
