If you listen to WWE executives talk about the wrestling business they will always kiss our ass by saying that they always listen to the fans. While it's true that they listened to the fans regarding guys like CM Punk three years ago and Daniel Bryan this year, they really didn't listen when it came to Cesaro. Listen to the crowd at WrestleMania 30. During the pre-show when Cesaro and Jack Swagger got into an argument, Cesaro had enough of Swagger. They got into a fight. Cesaro won the battle thanks to the Cesaro Swing move and the crowd went wild for the guy. It was one of the loudest reactions of the night. Later in the show when he won the Andre the Giant battle royal there was an even louder ovation when he defeated Big Show at the end. I was there. I know. Even though the fans were clearly behind him, WWE chose to ignore it. They had the plan to keep him heel by aligning him with Paul Heyman so that's what happened the next night. He might turn face later this year or early next year, but there's a very good chance that if he does turn it's not going to get him nearly the same reaction he got earlier this year. Timing is everything. When you time it wrong that's when things go downhill.
