4. Bellas Everywhere

There was no reason for Brie and Nikki Bella to be highlighted on last night's pay-per-view, but WWE did so anyway, pushing the duo to the forefront in ways that made little narrative sense.

Their first appearance came via backstage interview with Renee Young. They promoted Total Bellas, Total Divas, and various other ventures for a minute, then we got on with the show. This would have been fine on its own, but the siblings had to announce they'd be ringside for Ronda Rousey vs. Alexa Bliss, and that's when things became irritating.

Brie and Nikki joined Rousey for her post-match celebration. Why? Not even Simon Miller could solve such a conundrum, They have no affiliation with 'The Baddest Woman On The Planet,' and no prior relationship, making this an utterly pointless exercise.

That the Bellas will likely be pushed to the forefront during WWE's Evolution build is inevitable, but questionable. They have merit as performers, but aren't anything like the architects WWE will promote them as, and largely used a platform built by others to establish their position in the industry, and have profited from it ever since.
