After SmackDown invaded Raw this past Monday, the format for forthcoming episodes of both shows were set in stone. Nothing much of consequence will happen before Survivor Series aside from establishing who makes their respective elimination teams and a possible revenge assault by Raw.

Television should build towards a peak right in time for the pay-per-view, but WWE have made the next few weeks easy to skip. Think about it: many of the matches are between those who don't work on the same show, so there's little chance they'll interact between now and Survivor Series. Baron Corbin isn't going to attack The Miz post-match on Raw without further blurring of the brand lines, for example.

Expect lots of qualification matches to flesh out both sides, lots of empty threats and little else on both Raw and SmackDown over the next couple of weeks. Then (and only then) WWE will remember there's a pay-per-view to promote and trigger Raw's retribution attack the SmackDown before the show.
