7 Worst Wrestling Match Stipulations In WWE Extreme Rules History

1. Hog Pen match

Soaring into top spot on this list is the handicap hog pen match from 2009 which saw Santina Marellafictitious sister of WWE Superstar Santino Marellaface off against the esteemed tag team of Vickie and Chavo Guerrero.

From that sentence alone I think you can pretty much tell how this one played out.

As described by Jerry Lawler, €œin a hog pen match you literally take a bunch of hogs, add some hay and some mud and a little bit of slop, and then the two opponents climb in this hog pen and compete in it€. Okay then.

It gets worse though; a failed attempt to raise the stakes saw Vickie Guerrero€™s coveted title of Miss WrestleMania put on the line. And yep, you guessed itSantina would eventually emerge victorious to regain that most prestigious of monikers.

It€™s moments like these that I€™m sure make many of us question why we enjoy pro wrestling.

Luckily, the WWE seems to have veered away from this type of garbage in recent years. Nonetheless, Extreme Rules 2009 will unfortunately forever be blemished by what has to be regarded as the worst extreme rules stipulation in the history of the PPV.

Please, WWE, never again.
