7 Worst Wrestling Moments Of The Week (Apr 23)

5. Bravo.

On Monday's Raw, Alicia Fox, Dana Brooke and Emma starred in a skit that only a mother could love. Fox had out her iPad and a creepy camera man was hovering over her shoulder watching her play a clip of some powder being blowing into her face from 205 Live. That was the setup. A masterwork in modern filmmaking then began.

First of all, I like that this segment started with Fox showing Brooke footage from 205 Live, to catch her up to speed, because no one willingly goes out of their way to watch that show, even if they are employed by the company. That is some FINE ATTENTION TO DETAILS! Had Brooke already been aware of what happened on the show, that would have been a huge plothole, so the scene had some strong writing behind it as well.

Second of all, pay close attention to Dana's reaction, because as soon as Emma said “Did she laugh-” she was already overacting. Third of all, the Nickelodeon’s Choice Award for worst line delivery on a PG show goes to… DANA BROOKE for “THAT was SUCH a lie!”

Not quite sure what WWE was hoping to accomplish with this segment. If this is the best the company can come up with for Emma, she might as well go back to Emmalina right now. See ya in four months!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
