7 Worst Wrestling Moments Of The Week (April 9)

5. Take Care Mauro

Mauro Ranallo
WWE

It feels like WWE has a near major controversy on their hands, the only question is whether they'll do anything about it.

JBL has been widely known to be one of the biggest bullies in the business over the past couple decades. In the days of an overly-corporate WWE, it's bizarre that he still continues to thrive. But now, other outlets are catching on. Deadspin just recently detailed the exit of Mauro Ranallo, likely due to Bradshaw, and it feels like this is something that could have some big ramifications.

The whole situation just stinks. Besides one man with mental health issues being picked on by a d**k, Ranallo is simply a far better announcer than JBL, and makes the show he's on a better product. JBL is merely a mouthpiece for Vince McMahon, and needles people on-and-off air all so the boss can get a few laughs backstage. The problem is, they are the only two laughing.

If the situation wasn't bad enough, JBL also exposed himself as being "an idiot."

I won't answer Net rumors-but I didn't take Justin Roberts passport. Could have been anyone/he was hated by the whole crew. He's an idiot.

A couple things there. JBL, you literally just directly answered an internet rumor, which you said you wouldn't (he also did that in his tweet where he wished Mauro well). Also, trying to dissuade people from thinking you're a bully by calling someone an idiot kind of doesn't help your case of people thinking you're a bully.

Don't be a bully, Be a Star JBL...I feel I've heard that somewhere before.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
