Having officially retired from in-ring action in 1986 (having stopped participating full time in 1984 after blood clots he put down to Agent Orange exposure in Vietnam meant he was unable to do wrestle regularly), after a surprisingly short wrestling career, Jesse "The Body" Ventura turned to both acting and politics. Most prominently with regards to his acting career, he appeared in Predator and The Running Man in 1987 - his first two movie roles - but it wasn't until a decade later that he would appear in Joel Schumacher's Batman and Robin. Ventura played a nameless Arkham Asylum guard who fell victim to Poison Ivy's pheromones. It was a very brief appearance in the movie, and a very obscure one, and for that reason it gets top billing in this list. So there you have it - seven wrestlers who appeared in comic book movies.
