Pat McAfee might not technically be a wrestler but how could we not include him on this list after his boyhood dream came true?

McAfee is a former NFL punter for the Indianapolis Colts who retired at the age of 29 and has since carved out an incredible career in podcasting, presenting, and now commentary. He used to wrestle, in his back garden, as a child and is a lifelong fan of WWE. After retiring from American football got back inside the squared circle to train as a wrestler, and he really put the work in.

McAfee set the bar high for 'celebrity' appearances in wrestling, going full sports entertainment during his feud with Adam Cole in NXT. This storyline started in June of 2017 and culminated in a WarGames match in December 2020. WrestleMania is where the hardcore fans come to enjoy WWE and these fans already knew what Pat McAfee could do, but the pop he received when coming down to the ring to face Austin Theory was incredible.

The WWE Universe has taken him into their hearts and he impressed in his first mania outing. he also got to fight Mr. McMahon and get a Stunner off of Steve Austin, and what more could you want?!
