7 Wrestlers That Shone During WrestleMania 38 Weekend

2. Minoru Suzuki

The Japanese legend Minoru Suzuki was booked on so many shows that you might have missed one over WrestleMania weekend. From the bigger shows by more established names such as Ring of Honor, to smaller shows put on by GCW, it seemed like there wasn't a show that didn't have the murder grandpa on it.

His first match was in the headline spot at Josh Barnett's Bloodsport, where he was finally defeated by The Dirty Daddy, Chris Dickinson. It was a gritty and violent affair that ended with a referee stoppage. He followed this up by defeating Biff Busick in a sleeper hit of the weekend at the WrestleCon Mark Hitchcock Memorial Super Show. This match is definitely one you should watch.

Suzuki followed this up with a very busy Saturday, taking part in three singles matches. He defeated Rhett Titus for the ROH World Television Title at ROH Supercard Of Honor, a championship he will be defending against Samoa Joe on AEW Dynamite. he then faced Killer Kross at NJPW STRONG LoneStar Shootout and Effy at GCW Joey Janela's Spring Break 6 Part 2 defeating both. His match with Effy is another one that needs to be seen, it was hard-hitting and really fun.
