7 Wrestlers Who Should Leave WWE For The Indies

6. The Authors Of Pain

Hey remember not that long ago when people were excited about the Authors of Pain? I too miss... 2017.

Brought into NXT as complete unknowns, Akam (Sunny Dhinsa) and Rezar (Gzim Selmani) were poised to be the company's next Legion of Doom. They fought intense squash matches and were physically dominant throughout their run. To drive home comparisons to the Road Warriors, they were even paired with manager Paul Ellering, Hawk and Animal's original companion.

The two were very good despite only being in their early 20s, and it looked like they were set to take the main roster tag division by storm. Unfortunately, since being called up to RAW, they've now received "jobber entrance" status (i.e. the show comes back to commercial with them already in the ring).

Both Dhinsa and Selmani have legitimate fighting backgrounds, with the latter holding a 6-2 MMA record. That kind of real-life toughness would be appreciated on an indie circuit that boasts several utilizers of strong style. Be it Japan or ROH, the Authors of Pain have a much better chance of being the stars they were groomed to be in NXT.
