Eric Young spent a significant portion of 2019 appearing on Main Event and taking on the likes of No Way Jose. In other words, it wasn't a good year for the TNA original.

As the leader of Sanity, Young seemed to be in position for at least a solid run as a mid-card act, when he was called up to the main roster in 2018. However, since the faction dissolved, his singles career in WWE hasn't gone particularly well.

When he does appear on RAW, it's usually in a one-off match to put more established wrestlers over. His recent match with Andrade is an excellent example of the previous point. Moreover, the former NXT tag champ hasn't been a part of a meaningful storyline in months.

In essence, Young has gone from being the leader of a serviceable mid-card faction to an enhancement talent.
