7 Wrestlers WWE Unsuccessfully Tried To Sign In 2015
4. Carlito
The former Intercontinental, United States and Tag Team Champion had talks about coming back to the company a few months ago, according to the Wrestling Observer. The reports stated that WWE wanted Carlito back because they are searching for Latino wrestlers to help them draw in those markets. Apparently WWE offered him a deal that was so low that he turned them down flat. The feeling is that if WWE gave him a better offer, the 36-year-old may be interested in coming back. If Carlito does come back, he would likely be put into some sort of group with the former Los Matadores, since his brother and cousin made up that failed tag team. However, with WWE re-signing Alberto Del Rio recently, they may feel their hispanic star quota has been filled and not make another play for the apple-spitter. Carlito was released by WWE in 2010 and, as we have seen many times in the past, some people that get released never come back because they like the freedom of being away from WWE. Carlito may be one of those people.
