7 Wrestlers WWE Unsuccessfully Tried To Sign In 2015

3. Ronda Rousey

It's no secret that WWE loves former UFC Champion Ronda Rousey and would be absolutely delighted if she quit the UFC in order to sign with WWE full-time. Even though she lost her Women's Bantamweight title to Holly Holm recently, she will likely fight for UFC on at least a couple of occasions in 2016, one of which will most likely be a rematch with Holm. In addition to her UFC career, Rousey is also branching out into the entertainment world by working on movies and commercials. She knows that she can't fight forever due to the wear and tear of the sport, so it's smart for her to branch out. What Rousey has going in her favor is time. She's 28 years old, so she can probably fight in the UFC for another three years if she wants to. Then she can consider a WWE run, because it's not like WWE is going away any time soon, and she is a lifelong fan. WWE knows she's interested in going there one day because she's talked about wanting to be WWE Divas Champion. They want her to go there now, but they also know that they are going to have to wait. She's not going to sign a WWE contract in 2015 or probably even 2016, as much as WWE would like her to.
