7 WWE Facts And Stats For This Week's Raw (Aug 4 2014)

6. Roman Reigns Stays Unpinned In Singles Matches

It's obvious that Roman Reigns is set for an ascension to the top of the WWE. Once looked at as the most green member of the Shield, Reigns experienced the same type of hype and promise that Dave Batista did when he left Evolution in 2004. WWE is being extremely careful with how they book Reigns, to the tune of not having him be pinned in a singles match yet. Since his WWE debut in November 2012, Reigns has only had 24 matches on WWE TV in which he performed as in a singles capacity. Don't expect him to catch Goldberg's streak any time soon, however, as he's only actually won 13 of those matches, with the 11 remaining being battle royals, DQ's, no contests, or matches in which the decision didn't involve him. Reigns push looks to continue for the foreseeable future, as he may become the face of the WWE when John Cena decides to step aside.
