7 WWE Feuds That Killed Careers

2. DDP Vs. The Undertaker (2001)

At least Steiner didn't have to deal with the indignity of a stalker gimmick. Diamond Dallas Page, one of WCW's most popular stars when the company went under in 2001, was not so fortunate.

So excited was Page to work for the WWF that he accepted a buyout on his AOL/Time Warner contract and agreed to less money. One must wonder how deeply DDP regretted that when he heard what the McMahon family had in mind for him. Portrayed as a wannabe who creepily perved on The Undertaker's wife and pleaded "Make Me Famous" to the WWF legend, Page's run was a washout immediately.

Mere months after his arrival, one of WCW's most memorable success stories was made to look like a second rate moron who couldn't handle the WWF's best. By the time he was jobbing to Sara ('Taker's aforementioned wife) on Raw, Page must have wished he'd sat on his couch collecting that WCW pay check.

"Make Me Famous"? More like "Ruin My Career".
