7 WWE Gimmicks That Totally Personify Vince McMahon

2. 'Narcissist' Lex Luger

There are countless jokes in the ether about Vince's fondness for big, well-muscled performers.

Bruce Prichard has poked fun at the way McMahon's eyes would bulge when he was admiring The Ultimate Warrior's "vascularity", and there's a clear and obvious trend of musclebound workers doing well in WWE over the years; though times have changed somewhat, there are still huge dudes like Braun Strowman knocking around.

It was Lex Luger who, arguably, personified Vince's love of bodybuilding the best. He was initially hired as the spokesman for the WBF, a bodybuilding offshoot to the wrestling stuff, and he'd go on to play the character of 'the Narcissist'. Luger's role for months was to admire himself in the mirror as Bobby Heenan fawned over his biceps, triceps, traps, delts, quads, glutes and everything else.

Lex was the bodybuilding sensation Vince had always respected. His body fat percentage was low, his frame rippled with solid muscle and he loved to show it off. In many ways, 'Narcissist' was Vince's daily routine post-workout. Probably.
