7 WWE Midcarders That Should Break Through In 2015

5. Tyson Kidd

There have been a lot of talented people featured on WWE's NXT show this year, but the one that might have outshined them all is Tyson Kidd. It's not like Kidd really needed seasoning since he signed a developmental deal in 2006 and he learned how to wrestle when he was only 15 years old. He's 34 now, so he's got nearly 20 years of experience. What's been great about Kidd's role on NXT is that he had been out of action for much of 2013 after a major knee surgery and they used NXT to re-establish his character. He started out on NXT as a generic veteran babyface wrestler, but he's turned into one of the most entertaining heels in WWE. Basically, he's doing the gimmick where he's this egotistical jerk that cares only about himself even though the fans and the announcers try to say that he's just living off the fame of his wife Natalya. Kidd needs to bring the character to Raw and Smackdown. Right now they're slowly increasing his role by putting him on Main Event, which is where he was last week doing commentary during a Natalya match against Paige. He was very funny delivering some lines about his uncle Bret (true although only through his marriage) and teaching Natalya everything he knows about wrestling. His experience in NXT has been very beneficial to him. He really doesn't need to grow much as a wrestler because he's already one of the best in-ring competitors in WWE and if you asked the WWE roster most would say that too. Now that his character is on the right track, it's the right time for WWE to push this veteran at least to the Intercontinental or US Title level and then see where he can go from there.
