The Legion of Doom duo of Animal and Hawk is one of the best tag teams in wrestling history. They became really famous outside of WWE as the Road Warriors and had a few stints in WWE as LOD too. During the Attitude Era, WWE decided to go in a different direction with them by portraying Hawk as a drunk. It was actually a mix of alcohol and drugs. Basically, they just said he was out of control and had no idea what he was doing at times. He would show up as part of the Insane Clown Posse during a match against LOD. He had a mask on. He danced like an idiot. People laughed at it a bit, but for the most part it just looked like a really stupid wrestling angle. He would do things like tagging the wrong guys into the match and stumbling all around the ring. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wQnAhkT-9M A few weeks after that, Hawk climbed the Titantron because he was suicidal. Droz ended up climbing with him to get him down (at the time Droz was brought in as the next LOD member, which made Hawk upset) and they filmed it as if Droz pushed him off. The angle was dumb. By that point a lot of people knew about Hawk's real life demons, so for WWE to put it on screen was bad on their part. It also led to Animal and Hawk quitting WWE soon after Hawk's incident where he was supposedly pushed off the Titantron by Droz. What's really sad about the angle was that Hawk died in 2003 due to heart failure caused by his years of alcohol and drug abuse.
